pensions and financial advice and have worked together for many years.
James Bolton
Managing Director
James set up EBCam in January 2020. James has 30 years’ experience in dealing with all types of Employee Benefits, Pensions and Rewards. James trained at a leading international broker before joining a regional practice and then setting up and running his own successful business from 2001 until its sale in 2013. Since then James has worked with a local accountancy firm establishing their Employee Benefits business, before completing a Management Buyout in January 2020.
James studied Biochemistry at Kings College, University of London and is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute (FPMI), Associate of the Personal Finance Society (APFS) and a Chartered Financial Planner.
In his spare time James likes renovating his old listed farmhouse, collecting fossils, spending time with his family and walking their two rather lively cocker spaniels.

Steph Butcher (née Gordon)
Director
Steph is a founding Director of EBCam and has worked in the Employee Benefits industry for over 10 years. Steph started her career working in Human Resources and moved into Employee Benefits Consultancy in 2013. Steph works with a range of employers to assist them in providing comprehensive and competitive employee benefits. Steph is particularly passionate about supporting companies to ensure their employee benefits and pension are provided in a way that supports a positive impact on the environment.
In her spare time, Steph enjoys spending quality time with her family, attending exercise classes and going for long walks.

Laurie Clark
Director
Laurie is a founding Director of EBCam and has over 30-years’ experience in this profession. Laurie’s career started with Norwich Union where he worked with company pension schemes. Since then Laurie has worked with local Independent Financial Advisers and a large regional accountancy firm providing specialist advice and support to business leaders and their employees.
Laurie is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner. Laurie is also Vice Chairman of the Bury St Edmunds Sea Cadet Corps.

Kate Gibson
Director - Finance and Financial Education
Kate is a chartered accountant, qualified teacher and has a degree in Economics, MBA and DipFA. She uses her wide ranging financial knowledge alongside her teaching experience to help our team design, deliver and implement financial education and engagement programmes. Kate’s roles at EBCam incorporate her past experience working as an auditor for Ernst and Young, Group Financial Accountant for Perkins and an Economics and Business Studies teacher. She enjoys working as EBCam’s Finance Director and is also passionate about financial education.
In Kate’s spare time she loves spending time with her three sons. She enjoys pilates, yoga, walking the family dogs in the beautiful Suffolk countryside and exploring the world.

Sarah Levett
Chartered Financial Planner
Sarah joined EBCam in November 2020 as a Financial Planner. Having begun her career in financial services in 2007, she has worked for both regional and national firms, developing her skills and knowledge, achieving Chartered Status in 2022. Sarah works with a range of private clients, providing individual guidance and advice tailored to their needs, and creating financial plans to help them to achieve their ambitions. She has a specialist interest in tax-efficient investing.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, long walks in the countryside with her Labrador Otis, and following Ipswich Town Football Club.

Sally Allison
Client Relationship Manager
An experienced Employee Benefits Client Relationship Manager, Sally joined Norwich Union in 1984 transferring to their Cambridge branch in 1988. More recently Sally has worked with James in a number of different Independent Financial Advisory companies in both Private Client and Employee Benefits departments supporting advisers in a variety of roles and dealing with a portfolio of clients. Sally enjoys dealing with all aspects of Employee Benefits, particularly flexible benefit schemes.
Out of work Sally enjoys walking, running, going to the theatre, concerts, sporting events and seeing family and friends.

Simina McAnally
Client Relationship Manager
Simina has over 18 years’ experience within employee benefits having started her career working with James and Sally in 2006. As a Client Relationship Manager, Simina supports the consultancy team with their advice and recommendations for clients, specialising in: flexible benefits, auto-enrolment, health and wellbeing strategies, and pension schemes.
Simina joined EBCam in January 2020 and has a Diploma in Financial Planning with the Chartered Insurance Institute and also holds various other qualifications in the financial services industry having passed exams with the Pensions Management Institute.
Simina is married with two children, who take up most of her spare time. Outside of work, Simina enjoys running and walking.

Tom Scase
Client Relationship Manager
Tom has worked in employee benefits since 2012, assisting clients with the day to day administration of their benefits as well as focusing on those with flexible benefit platforms. Tom provides fantastic support to many of our large flex clients and has a detailed knowledge of benefit design and flex technology and rules. Prior to entering in the world of employee benefits, Tom graduated from The University of Sheffield with a Masters degree in Urban Studies and Planning.
Tom’s main interest outside of work is bellringing, where he has recently completed a five year term as Ringing Master of the Suffolk Guild of Ringers.

Rob Atkinson
Client Relationship Manager
Rob joined EBCam in July 2022 as a Client Relationship Manager. Rob has worked in the employee benefits, pensions and rewards industry for twenty five years.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys attending the gym and spending time with his family.

Josh Pope
Client Relationship Manager
Josh joined EBCam in February 2020 as Employee Benefits Administrator after working in an Accountancy practice in Cambridge and a large real estate company in their lettings administration office in London. Josh graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Accounting and Finance however, he then spent 10 years in childcare completing his Early Years Professional Status also at UEA and working his way up to Deputy Manager.
Away from work, Josh enjoys spending time with his partner and children and seeing family and friends. He enjoys being active doing lots of running, football and long walks in the countryside.

Fay Raymont
Client Relationship Manager
Fay joined EBCam in June 2023 as a Client Relationship Manager and has been in the Financial Services industry since 2012, working closely with advisors and clients to build successful outcomes. She has worked with other EBCam team members over the years and has progressed up from an administrator while studying and taking exams towards a DipPFS.
Outside of work, Fay enjoys seasonal British flower farming, crochet & knitting, and spending time with her husband and two young children.

Rachel Bowlin
Trainee Financial Adviser
Rachel joined EBCam in November 2023 as a Trainee Financial Planner. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Business Administration in 2009, then spent ten years as a military contractor before changing her career path to financial advice in February 2022. Rachel completed her exams and received her DipPFS qualification in March 2023.
Beyond the office, Rachel loves to travel, read, and go on long runs with her husband through Brandon Country Park.

Hannah Guy
Trainee Paraplanner
Hannah joined EBCam in March 2022 as a Trainee Paraplanner after working in the financial services industry since 2017. She started as an Administrator working her way up to Administration Manager before making the move to Paraplanning in 2021, with the aim to qualify in the coming years.
Outside of work, Hannah enjoys long walks with her partner and Beagle Millie, spending time in the garden, growing her own vegetables and hosting family BBQ’s in the summer.

Debbie Martin
Employee Benefits Administrator
Debbie joined the EBCam Team in April 2024 as an Employee Benefits Administrator. Debbie worked in the Defined Benefits Pensions industry for 11 years and holds an NVQ level 4 in Pensions Administration with The Pensions Management Institute . Debbie moved into Employee Benefits in 2013 initially focusing on auto enrolment and now enjoys the varied work involved in all aspects of Employee Benefits.
Debbie is married with two young children who keep her busy and in her spare time she enjoys family time and running.
